We can all agree these may be challenging and uncertain times. With the COVID-19 now declared a worldwide pandemic, people are scrambling, streets are empty. News, local and international, abound with messages that do not always bring comfort. Fake news and hopeless woes litter social media posts. I, myself, have been in more emergency meetings

To vote or not to vote

Today is the national elections in the Philippines. I went to the elementary school where I’m registered, and claimed my right to suffrage. A right I have never missed to exercise, except once, in the decades I have been a registered voter. And that one time, because they did not allow me to do so. I
